Sonshine Christian Preschool

Offers age appropriate programs and curriculum that are largely creative, fun, and developmental appropriate.  The programs and curriculum are designed to prepare your child for a smooth transition to elementary school.

We offer small class size with highly trained and skillful teachers to provide your child individual  attention and help enhance their abilities while they experience the joy of learning.  The activities are focused on developing the child’s fine and gross motor skills, creativity, self-reliance skills, relational skills, emotional, social behaviors and their cognitive function.

Pre-school children enrolled in the Full-Day Program participate in the morning classes listed above.

The afternoon session consists of :

• 2 Hour Rest / Nap
• Snacks
• Art and Science activities
• Story time
• Group activities
• Physical and outdoor play

Sonshine Christian School takes great pride in achieving academic and moral excellence.

We offer small class sizes. Our teacher to student ratio is excellent. The small class size helps the teachers provide individualized attention. Our teachers are highly trained and skilled educators whose focus is on student achievement. Students are encouraged to participate in outside academic and math competitions. All students are assessed regularly through the school’s curriculum and Terra Nova national testing.

Students transition into middle school well prepared and ready to tackle any academic challenge. Sonshine Christian School encourages life-long learning. Spiritual growth is key at Sonshine Christian School. The curriculum, Positive Action, reinforces God’s Word and enforces spiritual and intellectual development.
